aloha the owl

This cute little owl is slightly bigger than the dolls. It is about the same height but fatter around the middle. The owls are made from the same types of aloha fabrics and fillers as the dolls with the addition of the coconut or bamboo button eyes.

Keiki's Favorite Dolly

These dolls are made from all sorts of cute hawaiian style fabrics. They are very fun with their pom-pom hair and heart lips. They come in a light skinned version (haole) and a darker version (local) with a medium version (hapa) being available occasionally as I can get the felt I need. They are about 13" tall and measure approximately 8 1/2 across the widest part of the skirt. I buy local products and materials as often as I can. Outer fabrics are all 100% cotton with cotton/poly filler. I do all the work on them personally and do all of the finishing work by hand.

I told my daughter Isabelle I would make the first one for her. She loved it but now wants every one that I make. She loves them all so much!
